ISA Certified Arborist Exam Preparation Short Course

his training is for new arborists planning to take the ISA Certified Arborist exam. These include tree biology, plant health care, tree identification and selection, installation and establishment, tree-soil relationships, water management, nutrition and fertilization, plant disorders, worker safety, tree protection from construction damage, climbing and working in trees, pruning, tree support and lightning protection, and risk assessment. The course is also available to established arborists for continuing education.

Training to be conducted in-person. Participants shall be required to wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID19 while in the Lauderdale County Extension Office.

Applied for continuing education credits for arborists, foresters, and Extension agents. Extension agents must also register through the MSU Extension intranet online system.

Lunch provided, which shall include sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink.
