2022 Seed & Ag. Technology Short Course

The Mississippi State University Extension Service and Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station invite seed and agricultural industry professionals, stakeholders, producers, crop consultants, and research professionals to attend the 2022 MSU Seed and Ag. Technology Short Course on Aug. 15-16 at the MSU Bost Extension Conference Center.

Participants will learn about management and implementation of precision agricultural information and data, carbon credit market economics, Ag. autonomous technologies, and prescriptive/high speed planting technologies for seed and crop production. Principles of seed and grain storage/drying, grain bin maintenance, pos-harvest pest management, industrial electrical safety, seed-borne diseases, and state/federal seed laws will also be discussed. Additionally, a hands-on demonstration and training of seed processing, cleaning, and conditioning equipment will take place on day two.

The $50 registration fee covers the short course lecture sessions, printed materials, breakfast and lunch each day, and a social/dinner after the first day.
