The Mississippi State University Extension Service and Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station invite seed and agricultural industry professionals, stakeholders, producers, crop consultants, and research professionals to attend the 2021 MSU Seed and Ag. Technology Short Course on Aug. 3-4 at the Bost Extension Conference Center.
Participants will learn about Precision/Digital Ag. technologies, applications, economics, data management strategies, UAV applications, and precision planting technologies for seed and crop production. Control and automated solutions for seed processing and handling, seed treatments and biologics, seed quality evaluation and testing, influence of fungicides and harvest aids on seed quality, state and federal seed laws, equipment safety, and H2A/B labor management practices will also be discussed.
The $50 registration fee covers the short course lecture sessions, printed materials, breakfast and lunch each day, and a social/dinner after the first day.
